As TBA moves onwards into our seventeenth season, we would like to take the opportunity to reminisce over our sixteenth!
TBA had a very eventful year – from gigs, to concerts, and an upcoming EP! Nine new TBAbies arose from the audition process and immediately made their mark on the group, with multiple solos and arrangement credits in their first year alone.
TBAXVI had multiple performances, including two concerts (NOVA and Hues), and opening for Toronto a cappella groups such as U of T’s Onoscatopoeia and York’s WIBI. TBA also arranged several charts spanning a wide selection of genres – from Ariana Grande’s cute “thank u, next”, to the more serious ballads like “Lovely” by Billie Eilish and Khalid. (We even sang some K-Pop – keep an eye out for the upcoming video!)
As TBAXVI comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who has come out to support us – it means a lot knowing that our work and dedication to A Cappella is being appreciated and loved. We can’t wait to carry the excitement and energy into TBAXVII!
